Across India’s smaller cities, towns and villages, thousands of products are made with exceptional quality, traditional knowledge and strong regional identity. The challenge is not always the product. The challenge is discovery.
Why good local products stay local
A product may be famous in one district and completely unknown in another state. A local producer may have an excellent product but no access to professional branding, digital commerce or a larger customer base. Streatos exists to bridge that gap.
Step 1: It starts at a local branch
Producers, farmers and local businesses register as Streatos vendors. Our branches act as the local connection between people, products, businesses and Streatos, helping with registration, documentation and technology, so a vendor does not have to figure everything out alone.
Step 2: Verification and product onboarding
Once a vendor is registered and verified, the product is onboarded. Registration alone does not guarantee that a product will be approved or purchased; the product has to be right for our customers.
Step 3: Packed under the Streatos brand
Streatos takes the product from the vendor and packs it under our own brand, so customers get a consistent, professional experience wherever they find it.
Step 4: Sold across Streatos channels
The packed product is sold through Streatos marts, Streatos restaurants, our website and online platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. One product, many ways to reach a customer.
Why the story behind a product matters
A packet of rajma can introduce you to a village. A spice can introduce you to a region. A traditional dish can introduce you to a whole way of life. That is why Streatos does not just sell products; we help people discover where those products come from. Look out for more stories in this section.
